TVS Industrial & Logistics Parks (TVS ILP) announced a significant investment of Rs 200 crore to develop a new logistics facility in Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh. Securing 20 acres from the Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation, the new logistics park will be located 25 kilometres from Indore, a strategic position set to address the growing demand for high-quality warehousing solutions in the region.
This new facility will not only enhance logistics services in Madhya Pradesh but is also expected to generate over 1,000 jobs, fostering economic growth in and around Indore. With tech-driven, sustainable warehouses that meet global standards, TVS ILP aims to offer premium Grade-A storage solutions, catering to industries like e-commerce, retail, and FMCG that are increasingly prioritising efficient, compliant logistics.
TVS ILP’s facility in Indore will focus on reducing transit times and optimising goods delivery for businesses, a move expected to boost logistics efficiencies and provide a competitive edge. Ramnath Subramaniam, CEO of TVS ILP, emphasised the potential of Madhya Pradesh to become a central logistics hub due to its advantageous location and inter-state connectivity.
According to Subramaniam, this project aligns with TVS ILP’s goal of pioneering tech-enabled logistics infrastructure across India. He added that the facility’s strategic location would support businesses—both domestic and international—in expanding their reach and streamlining operations within the region.
With Indore emerging as a prominent Smart City, TVS ILP’s entry into the logistics space reinforces its role as an attractive hub for businesses aiming to improve operational efficiencies and capture new markets.
