    CMA CGM has announced the implementation of a Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) of US$1,500 per unit from the Indian Subcontinent, Middle East Gulf, Red Sea and Egypt to the United States East Coast and Gulf.

    The French carrier noted the surcharge will be effective from 5 December 2024 (loading date) until further notice and will be applicable to all container types.
