    India’s gross goods and services tax (GST) collection in March rose 10% year-on-year to 1.96 trillion rupees ($22.91 billion), according to a statement released by India’s finance ministry on Tuesday.

    Net GST excluding refunds rose 7.3% year-on-year to 1.77 trillion rupees in March, compared to 1.63 trillion rupees collected a month ago, the statement showed.
