    The Mahindra organization on Monday appointed Hemant Sikka managing director and leader of the government of Mahindra Logistics Ltd. (MLL). Sikka had been the president of the farm system business since 2020.

    “Hemant is one of our pinnacle leaders and brings with him an effective mixture of strategic talents, operational rigor, consumer centricity, and people management capabilities,” the Mumbai-based total automobile massive stated in a declaration.

    Sikka will take over as the MD and CEO from May.

    Ram Swaminathan, the contemporary MD and CEO of MLL, has decided to step all the way down to pursue different expert interests. Swaminathan joined the company in July 2019, and his last day could be 20 July.

    In the region of Sikka, the president of the automotive division, Veejay Neekra, will take over as president of the farm gadget commercial enterprise, which the company recognizes as one of the most important and worthwhile corporations, with a return on capital employed of over 60%.

    “There is a large possibility for us to grow the commercial enterprise profitably through tractors, farm equipment, and globalization,” it stated in the declaration.

    “Veejay joined M&M in 1995 and has a robust, tested music record of making a turnaround of the car commercial enterprise with successful launches, even as constructing global-class manufacturing capability, along with shaping the growth approach for our international companies,” it introduced.

    Neekra will retain the file for Rajesh Jejurikar, who’s the government director for the automobile and farm sectors.

    To replace Neekra, the business enterprise has appointed R. Veluswamy, president of automobile technology and product development, as the president of the automotive business. As a part of the reshuffle, the organization is also bringing the SUV and LCV enterprise under one chief of the automobile commercial enterprise.

    “This would help construct more agility and collaboration, both in engineering our merchandise and taking it to the marketplace. The function might have given up-to-end responsibility of all capabilities within the automobile enterprise with P&L shipping,” the declaration said.

    The Mahindra organization’s several vehicle divisions closed the ultimate economic year on a healthy note. The passenger car segment’s retail income grew by almost 20% to attain 512,000 from the earlier 427,000.
