Folk Maritime Services Company has announced the addition of three container vessels to its fleet, with deployment scheduled over the coming month.

The newly added ships are: M/V Folk Dammam (1,868 TEUs), M/V Folk Yanbu (702 TEUs), and M/V Folk Jubail (1,118 TEUs).

All three vessels are registered under the Saudi flag at Jeddah Islamic Port.

This expansion enhances Folk Maritime’s operational capabilities across the Red Sea, Arabian Gulf, Indian Subcontinent, and other key regional trade corridors.

Poul Hestbaek, CEO of Folk Maritime, emphasized the strategic importance of the acquisition:

“The addition of Folk Dammam, Folk Yanbu, and Folk Jubail to our fleet strengthens our ability to deliver efficient and reliable shipping solutions.

“These efforts directly align with Vision 2030’s objectives to build a competitive, self-sufficient logistics sector.”

Last month, Folk Maritime Services Company officially acquired its second vessel, M/V Folk Jazan.
