China Post launched its independent intercontinental cargo route between Guangzhou and Luxembourg on July 25, when flight CF277 departed from Guangzhou Baiyun Airport and arrived at Luxembourg Findel Airport on the same day.

The new route, operated by a B777F freighter, carries cross-border e-commerce goods, industrial products from the Guangdong-Hong KongMacau Greater Bay Area, and mail.

This is the first direct intercontinental cargo route from Guangzhou Baiyun Airport to Luxembourg. It is also China Post’s third independent intercontinental cargo route after the Nanjing to Luxembourg and Zhengzhou to Luxembourg services.

The new route, according to China Post, aims to meet the increasing demand for international logistics from the region’s manufacturing and ecommerce sectors.
