    Mundra Port has achieved a new milestone in its rail operations, setting a record for the highest number of double-stack container rakes handled in a single month. In the latest performance update, the port reported movement of 898 double-stack rakes, transporting 0.46 lakh TEUs, marking a benchmark in both rake handling and cargo throughput.

    In addition to the overall record, Mundra also reached a significant import milestone. The port successfully handled 541 import double-stack rakes, carrying 0.27 lakh TEUs, the highest ever import volume moved by rail in a single month.

    These achievements reinforce Mundra Port’s position as India’s leading gateway for containerized cargo, underlining its strengths in scale, speed, and operational efficiency.
