Maastricht Aachen Airport (MST) has registered a double-digit increase in cargo volumes over the first seven months of the year and is optimistic about further growth following the addition of three new weekly freighter flights.
The Dutch airport saw its cargo volumes increase by 15% year on year in the first seven months of 2025 driven by a series of Atlas Air charter flights, the addition of Ethiopian Cargo and the return of Turkish Cargo.
Looking ahead, Turkish Cargo will in September add to its existing twice-weekly service with a Boeing 777 flight connecting Quito, Bogota, Miami, Istanbul, and the Netherlands, transporting flowers, vegetables, and other goods.
Meanwhile, My Freighter is adding a new, twice-weekly Boeing 767-300 full freighter service connecting Shanghai, Tashkent, Almaty, and the Netherlands. The new service will target e-commerce goods, automotive products, general cargo, and flowers.
