Dhillon Freight Carrier Ltd (DFCL), a regional logistics and transportation solutions provider, has acquired 18,000 sq. ft. of land in Howrah, West Bengal, from South City Anmol Infra Park LLP. The move underscores the company’s commitment to strengthening its warehousing and distribution footprint in eastern India.

DFCL plans to begin construction of the warehouse within the current financial year, with completion targeted in 10–12 months, subject to approvals. The upcoming facility will enable the company to handle higher cargo volumes, streamline supply chain operations, and serve its expanding client base more effectively.

The new warehouse will focus on supporting clients in key industrial hubs, particularly textile and steel clusters in Chamrail, Howrah, Dankuni, Durgapur, and Uluberia.

“With the completion of this project, our company will be well-positioned to manage higher volumes and enhance service levels, particularly for clients from the textile and steel clusters in and around Chamrail, Howrah, Dankuni, Durgapur, and Uluberia,” said Mukesh Kumar Agarwal, CFO, Dhillon Freight Carrier Ltd.

The initiative is part of DFCL’s long-term growth strategy to build a stronger warehousing network, improve operational efficiency, and meet India’s rising logistics demand.
