Synergy Marine Group has announced that its vessel Nexus Victoria has received a formal commendation from MOL Energia Pte. Ltd., recognising the exceptional professionalism, dedication and operational excellence demonstrated by the Master, crew, and vessel management team.
The Nexus Victoria has long served as a testament to the strong, enduring partnership between MOL Energia and Synergy Marine Group. Through consistent teamwork and disciplined collaboration, the vessel has upheld high standards of safety, reliability and continuous performance improvement across all voyages.
Currently led by Captain Radhika Menon, one of Synergy’s most senior tanker Masters, Nexus Victoria is also among the fleet’s frontrunners in environmental innovation. The vessel is equipped with an advanced onboard carbon capture unit and SOₓ-scrubber system that eliminates 99% of sulphur oxides and particulate matter while capturing up to 10% of CO₂ emissions—reinforcing both organisations’ commitment to sustainability and decarbonisation.
Synergy Marine Group extended its appreciation to all Synergian seafarers, past and present, who have contributed to the vessel’s success, along with the shore-based management team whose support has been integral to its continued excellence.
The certificate of commendation was presented by Ms. Miki Ogura, Managing Director of MOL Energia Pte. Ltd., and received on behalf of the vessel by Captain Soma Sekhar, Managing Director of Synergy Maritime.
