DFCCIL Managing Director, Sh. Praveen Kumar, was honoured with an audience by the Hon’ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, to present a comprehensive update on the far-reaching impact of the Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Ltd. (DFCCIL) on the country’s freight and logistics ecosystem.
During the interaction, the MD highlighted the significant operational advancements achieved across the Eastern and Western Dedicated Freight Corridors. He briefed the Hon’ble President on the improved efficiency, reliability, and capacity of freight movement enabled through these corridors, which are playing a pivotal role in strengthening India’s logistics backbone.
Sh. Praveen Kumar also underscored DFCCIL’s initiatives focused on enhancing multimodal logistics integration, boosting safety standards, and promoting sustainability across operations. The discussion further included an update on the upcoming freight corridors, which are poised to expand national connectivity, lower logistics costs, and accelerate economic growth.
