    A delegation from the World Customs Organization (WCO) visited ICD Gurgaon (Garhi Harsaru) as part of their study tour to India, aimed at gaining deeper insights into the country’s evolving Customs and EXIM ecosystem.

    Officials from Jordan, Mauritius, Peru, and Vietnam, accompanied by representatives from the CRCL and Indian Customs, toured the facility to observe the digital systems, operational processes, and compliance mechanisms practiced at the inland container depot.

    During the visit, the delegation was given live demonstrations of:

    OCR-based cargo processing

    Self-service kiosks for faster documentation

    Container tracking through mobile applications

    The NIGAH platform for end-to-end visibility

    Specialized Customs tools and equipment that support efficient cargo clearance

    The knowledge-sharing session highlighted ICD Gurgaon’s advancements in technology adoption, process transparency, and operational efficiency. The engaging interaction also underscored the depot’s commitment to strengthening the EXIM value chain and promoting ease of doing business.

    Officials expressed appreciation for the comprehensive overview and collaborative insights shared during the visit.
