V-Xpress, the express cargo arm of V-Trans (India) Ltd., is strengthening its Appointment Delivery service to support quick commerce, modern trade and organised retail businesses with reliable, time-bound deliveries to warehouses and distribution centres.

The service enables suppliers to deliver consignments on pre-agreed dates and within confirmed warehouse receiving slots, helping them avoid missed appointments, prolonged waiting times, rejected consignments, penalties and delays in stock availability. V-Xpress reports a service level of over 90% and also serves retail chains and Canteen Stores Department (CSD) locations.

The company operates the service through more than 40 dedicated centres with a combined storage capacity of 50,000 sq. ft. It currently handles approximately 10,000 tonnes of cargo per month and plans to double the volume over the next year. Additional touchpoints are being developed in the Narasapura and Dabaspet industrial areas to strengthen its regional coverage.

To improve shipment visibility and delivery confirmation, V-Xpress offers GPS-based tracking and electronic proof of delivery (e-POD). API integration with partner platforms is also in its final stages, which is expected to further streamline coordination and information exchange.

As part of its broader expansion strategy, V-Xpress is adding more than 15 outlets across Karnataka, with the expansion expected to generate over 150 jobs. The network is being developed largely through business partners and will cover Bengaluru, Bijapur, Gulbarga, Mangalore, Davangere, Sirsi, Bagalkot and Devanahalli, along with the industrial areas of Harohalli, Jigani, Hindupur and Bidadi.

“Our Appointment Delivery service helps quick commerce and modern trade suppliers meet receiving schedules, reduce delays and keep goods moving efficiently,” said Mr. Aditya Shah, Executive Director, V-Trans (India) Ltd. and CEO, V-Xpress.

In addition to its business logistics services, V-Xpress offers Box-N-Ship, a door-to-door service for students to transport their belongings from hostels or campuses to their hometowns. The service also features promotional pricing during festival periods.

Through its investment in appointment-based deliveries, technology and network expansion, V-Xpress aims to improve supply chain reliability for organised retail and quick commerce customers while extending its reach across key industrial and commercial centres in Karnataka.
