Icelandic shipping company Eimskip has announced that Rotterdam will no longer be included in its Yellow Line service, part of a route adjustment aimed at streamlining operations and improving efficiency.

The Yellow Line, which serves key ports in Northern Europe, has been restructured to optimise transit times and better align with customer demand. Eimskip officials noted that the change is part of ongoing efforts to enhance service reliability and reduce operational costs while maintaining coverage of other major trade hubs.

Shippers using the Yellow Line will need to adjust their logistics plans accordingly, with alternative routing options available through nearby ports. The company reaffirmed its commitment to providing flexible and efficient transport solutions across its European network.

The Rotterdam port call removal is effective immediately, and Eimskip continues to evaluate its network for further operational improvements.
