MSC Air Cargo has taken delivery of another Boeing 777-200F freighter, expanding its dedicated air cargo fleet as the company continues to strengthen its presence in the global air freight market.

The latest aircraft increases the carrier’s fleet of B777 freighters and supports the group’s strategy of integrating air and ocean logistics to provide faster and more flexible transport solutions for customers. The widebody freighter offers a payload capacity of more than 100 tonnes and is capable of long-haul operations linking major cargo hubs across continents.

MSC Air Cargo launched operations to complement the vast shipping network of its parent company, Mediterranean Shipping Company, allowing the group to offer end-to-end logistics services that combine sea, air and inland transportation.

Industry observers say the addition of another Boeing 777-200F strengthens the carrier’s ability to handle time-sensitive shipments such as pharmaceuticals, electronics and high-value goods, while also providing additional capacity on key global trade lanes.

The expansion of the freighter fleet reflects growing demand for integrated logistics services as companies seek faster delivery options and more resilient supply chains amid ongoing disruptions in global shipping networks.
