Amid a challenging global shipping environment triggered by ongoing geopolitical tensions in the Middle East, including the recent conflict involving the United States and Israel with Iran, the maritime sector worldwide has been grappling with significant disruptions. Despite these headwinds, Deendayal Port Authority (DPA) has emerged as a standout performer, securing the No. 1 position among India’s major ports in cargo handling.

Marking this notable achievement, Kandla Liquid Tank Terminal Association (KLTTA) and Kandla Custom Brokers’ Association (KCBA) extended their heartfelt congratulations to the port administration.

In a gesture of appreciation, Dinesh Gupta, Vice President of KLTTA, and Keyur Thakrar, Secretary of KCBA, met with Sushil Kumar Singh, Chairman of DPA, and Nilabhra Das Gupta, Deputy Chairman, to personally convey their commendation.

The associations lauded the port’s leadership, highlighting that under the dynamic guidance of the Chairman, DPA has successfully risen to become the country’s leading major port. They also reaffirmed their commitment to supporting the port’s continued growth and development.

This milestone underscores the resilience, operational efficiency, and strategic capability of Deendayal Port Authority in navigating global uncertainties while maintaining its leadership position in India’s maritime sector.
