    The Madras Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MCCI) on Sunday welcomed the newly elected Government of Tamil Nadu and extended its congratulations to the new Chief Minister on securing the mandate of the people.

    In a statement, Ramkumar Shankar, President of MCCI, conveyed his best wishes to the new Government and expressed confidence in its leadership to guide the State towards greater economic prosperity, inclusive growth, socio-economic advancement and sustainable development.

    He stated that the Chamber is confident the new Government will continue to foster a progressive, stable and business-friendly environment that supports trade, industry, investment, innovation and entrepreneurship across the State.

    Highlighting the importance of collaboration between the Government and the business community, he noted that a strong partnership would play a key role in accelerating economic development, improving competitiveness, attracting investments and creating employment opportunities in Tamil Nadu.

    MCCI further reaffirmed its commitment to working closely with the Government on policy initiatives, promoting sustainable and inclusive economic growth and contributing meaningfully to the State’s long-term socio-economic development agenda.
