New Mangalore Port Authority marked the successful conclusion of its current cruise season with the arrival of the luxury cruise vessel M.S. Seven Seas Navigator, the fifth and final cruise call of the season at the port.
The Bahamas-flagged vessel arrived at the port carrying 427 passengers and 372 crew members as part of its international cruise itinerary covering Male, Cochin, Mangalore, Goa, and Mumbai. The vessel’s call further highlighted the growing importance of Mangalore as a key destination on India’s western coast cruise circuit.
With the completion of the season, the port recorded a total of five cruise vessel calls and handled 2,079 cruise passengers, reinforcing its emergence as a promising cruise tourism gateway in the country.
Passengers arriving onboard were given a traditional welcome and provided with curated tourism experiences aimed at showcasing the heritage, culture, and scenic beauty of Coastal Karnataka.
The successful cruise season reflects the port’s continued efforts to strengthen cruise tourism infrastructure and promote the region as an attractive destination for international travelers.
