    CONCOR Engages Telangana Government to Boost Multimodal Logistics Infrastructure

    Senior officials from the Container Corporation of India (CONCOR) held a series of high-level meetings with Telangana government representatives to discuss the development of multimodal logistics infrastructure and explore opportunities to strengthen the state’s logistics ecosystem.

    On June 27, Shri Vivek Gupta, IRAS, Director (Finance), CONCOR, and Ms. Anita Barik, IRTS, Cluster Head, Hyderabad, CONCOR, met Shri K. Shashanka, IAS, Managing Director of Telangana Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TGIIC). The discussions focused on advancing multimodal logistics infrastructure in Telangana and identifying collaborative initiatives to support the state’s growing industrial and logistics requirements.

    The CONCOR delegation also met Mr. N. V. S. Reddy, Adviser to the Government of Telangana, to deliberate on the state’s ongoing infrastructure development projects and the scope for enhancing multimodal connectivity to improve freight movement and logistics efficiency.

    As part of the visit, Shri Vivek Gupta and Ms. Anita Barik inspected CONCOR’s existing facilities in Telangana. The review covered the current infrastructure, operational performance, and opportunities for expanding capacity to meet future cargo handling and logistics demands.

    The visit underscores CONCOR’s continued focus on partnering with state governments to strengthen integrated logistics infrastructure and promote efficient multimodal transportation networks across the country.
