Saudi Ports Authority has welcomed Folk Maritime’s Red Sea Express service at Yanbu Commercial Port, strengthening maritime connectivity and expanding shipping options along the Red Sea trade corridor.

The new service is expected to improve cargo links, support regional trade flows, and enhance Yanbu’s role as a key logistics gateway for Saudi Arabia. The addition of the route will provide greater access for importers and exporters while supporting more efficient movement of goods.

The Red Sea Express service reflects ongoing efforts to expand shipping networks, increase port competitiveness, and improve connections between regional and international markets.

The move aligns with Saudi Arabia’s broader logistics development strategy, which focuses on strengthening port infrastructure, attracting maritime investments, and positioning the Kingdom as a major global logistics hub.

With the new service, Yanbu Port is set to benefit from improved vessel connectivity and increased opportunities for trade growth across the Red Sea region.
