Hapag-Lloyd has announced changes to the schedule and port rotation of its East Med Express (EMX) service, aiming to improve network reliability, optimize transit times, and enhance service efficiency across the Eastern Mediterranean.

The revised rotation is designed to streamline vessel operations while maintaining reliable connections between key ports in the region. The changes are expected to provide customers with more predictable sailing schedules and improved cargo flow across the carrier’s Mediterranean network.

According to the company, the updated service reflects ongoing efforts to adapt its network to evolving market conditions, operational requirements, and customer demand. The adjustments are intended to strengthen schedule integrity and support efficient cargo handling at major ports served by the EMX route.

Hapag-Lloyd advised customers to review the revised sailing schedules and update shipment plans where necessary. The carrier said its local teams remain available to assist customers with booking adjustments and cargo planning during the transition.

The schedule update forms part of Hapag-Lloyd’s broader strategy to continuously optimize its global service network, ensuring greater operational resilience and dependable transport solutions amid changing trade patterns and supply chain dynamics.
