Sinotrans has launched its new CIW2 service to strengthen shipping connectivity between China and India, expanding its regional network to support growing bilateral trade and improve cargo movement across key Asian markets.

The CIW2 service is designed to provide customers with enhanced sailing frequency, reliable transit times, and direct connections between major ports in China and India. The new route is expected to facilitate the movement of a wide range of cargo, including manufactured goods, machinery, electronics, chemicals, and consumer products.

According to the company, the service has been introduced to meet increasing customer demand for dependable container shipping solutions amid expanding trade between the two countries. The enhanced network is also expected to offer greater schedule reliability and improved supply chain flexibility for exporters and importers.

The launch forms part of Sinotrans’ broader strategy to strengthen its intra-Asia service portfolio by expanding coverage across major regional trade corridors. By increasing port connectivity and service options, the company aims to provide customers with more efficient and competitive logistics solutions.

As trade between China and India continues to grow, the CIW2 service is expected to improve cargo accessibility, support regional supply chains, and reinforce Sinotrans’ presence in one of Asia’s most important container shipping markets.
