Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (APSEZ) handled 41.8 million metric tonnes (MMT) of cargo in July, marking a 15% year-on-year increase, driven by robust growth in container, dry bulk and liquid cargo segments. The strong monthly performance reflects sustained demand across domestic and international trade routes despite ongoing global supply chain uncertainties.

Container volumes remained a key growth driver, supported by higher EXIM cargo movement and improved operational efficiencies across the company’s port network. Dry bulk cargo, including coal, minerals and agri-products, also recorded healthy gains, while liquid cargo volumes benefited from increased energy imports.

During the April–July period of FY2026-27, APSEZ handled approximately 167 MMT of cargo, representing steady growth over the corresponding period last year. The company continues to expand port capacity, strengthen multimodal logistics infrastructure and enhance digital operations to support rising cargo demand.

The July performance reinforces Adani Ports’ position as India’s largest commercial port operator, with continued investments in infrastructure and integrated logistics expected to support long-term growth in cargo handling and supply chain services.
