Softlink Academy, the skilling initiative of Softlink Global Limited, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with M.V. Mandali’s Colleges of Commerce and Science to introduce specialized software training and strengthen industry-academia collaboration in logistics and freight forwarding.
The partnership will provide students with hands-on exposure to enterprise logistics software, practical industry-oriented curriculum and training aligned with the evolving technology needs of the freight forwarding and supply chain sectors.
Under the MoU, M.V. Mandali’s Colleges will manage student enrolment, training sessions, qualified trainers and certification, while Softlink Academy will provide faculty training, curriculum and study material, software licences for training, brand support and placement assistance through its network of commercial licensing partners.
Students completing the programme will gain practical experience in logistics ERP software, industry-aligned knowledge, certification and access to potential career opportunities in the logistics sector.
Mr. Ganesh Kanchan, President, Mogaveera Vyavasthapaka Mandali, said the collaboration would help students graduate with not only academic knowledge but also practical, industry-recognised skills.
Amit Maheshwari, Founder & CEO, Softlink Global, said the Academy initiative is aimed at closing the freight forwarding industry’s skills gap by giving students early exposure to logistics technology and supporting them with placement opportunities.
The initiative forms part of Softlink Academy’s broader effort to build an industry-ready talent pipeline by bringing logistics technology and practical learning into academic institutions.
