Air Canada Cargo has appointed Saignat to lead its sales activities across the Americas, strengthening the carrier’s commercial leadership in the region.
In the new role, Saignat will oversee the airline’s Americas sales strategy and work with customers and partners across key cargo markets. The appointment is aimed at supporting Air Canada Cargo’s commercial growth and strengthening relationships with freight forwarders and other industry stakeholders.
The Americas remains a key market for Air Canada Cargo, with the carrier offering belly and freighter capacity across its international network. Effective sales management will be important as demand patterns continue to evolve and competition in the air freight market remains strong.
The appointment also comes as airlines continue to focus on developing cargo revenues, improving customer engagement and aligning capacity with changing trade flows.
Air Canada Cargo is expected to leverage Saignat’s leadership to further develop its presence in the Americas and identify new opportunities across the region’s air freight market.
