Ports under Egypt’s Red Sea Ports Authority recorded 13 ship movements and handled 13,000 tonnes of cargo on September 13, 2026, according to the authority’s media centre.
The ports also handled 661 trucks and 132 cars, while passenger traffic reached 1,258.
Imports accounted for seven ships, 7,000 tonnes of cargo, 417 trucks and 90 cars, while exports involved six ships, 6,000 tonnes, 244 trucks and 42 cars.
At Safaga Port, three ships — POSEIDON EXPRESS, Al Hurriya and Amal — arrived, while ALCUDIA EXPRESS and BRIDGE departed.
Nuweiba Port handled 6,500 tonnes of cargo and 252 trucks through shuttle operations involving four vessels — Al Hussein, Sina, Ayla and Our.
