Shreeji Shipping has signed a charter agreement for the deployment of a coastal vessel, strengthening its capacity to serve domestic maritime cargo movements.

The agreement will enable the company to deploy the vessel for coastal transportation operations, supporting the movement of bulk and other cargo along India’s coastline.

    Expanding Coastal Shipping Capacity

The charter arrangement forms part of Shreeji Shipping’s efforts to expand its maritime logistics operations and improve vessel availability for customers.

Coastal shipping offers an alternative to road and rail transportation for suitable cargo, helping move larger volumes over longer distances while reducing pressure on inland transport networks.

    Supporting India’s Coastal Trade

The addition of the chartered vessel is expected to strengthen Shreeji Shipping’s ability to respond to demand for coastal cargo services. The company continues to build its presence across shipping, logistics and maritime transportation.

The latest agreement also aligns with India’s broader efforts to promote coastal shipping and increase the share of cargo transported by sea.
