Brussels Airport and Hyderabad International Airport have joined forces to strengthen air cargo connectivity between Belgium and India, with a focus on supporting trade flows and creating new opportunities for businesses in both markets.
The partnership aims to improve cooperation between the two airports and promote stronger cargo links between Europe and India. It is expected to facilitate greater movement of high-value and time-sensitive commodities, including pharmaceuticals, life sciences products, electronics and other specialised cargo.
Hyderabad is an important gateway for India’s pharmaceutical and technology industries, while Brussels Airport is a major European hub for pharmaceutical and other temperature-sensitive shipments. Closer cooperation between the airports could support more efficient movement of such cargo between the two regions.
The initiative also seeks to increase awareness among exporters, importers, freight forwarders and logistics companies about the available air cargo connectivity and handling capabilities at both airports.
Stronger air links between Belgium and India could help businesses access wider markets while providing logistics operators with additional opportunities to develop cross-border cargo solutions.
