Integrated express logistics provider DTDC is targeting nearly a doubling of revenue by FY30 after recording a 7.4 per cent increase in FY26 revenue to ₹2,655 crore from ₹2,472 crore in FY25.

The company plans to sustain double-digit growth through FY30, driven by investments in processing capacity, automation, cross-border logistics and e-commerce. DTDC invested ₹100–150 crore in capital expenditure in both FY25 and FY26.

Chief Executive Officer Abhishek Chakraborty said the company plans to accelerate expansion and take larger investments to support future growth. DTDC has historically funded its expansion through internal cash flows, without undertaking a primary capital raise in its 36-year history.

However, the company is open to raising additional capital, including through the public markets, as its growth requirements increase.

DTDC’s franchise-led model remains central to its asset-light expansion strategy. The company has more than 16,500 channel partners and reaches around 96 per cent of India’s population. Its investments are focused on hubs, transportation, automated processing and technology.

A key addition to its network is Bharat One, a 1.5-lakh-square-foot integrated hub at Rathiwas in Haryana, with peak processing capacity of up to 2,500 tonnes a day.

International operations currently contribute around 21 per cent of DTDC’s revenue and have grown at approximately 13–14 per cent annually over the past two to three years. The company expects expanding cross-border trade and India’s free trade agreements to create further opportunities, particularly for MSMEs and direct-to-consumer businesses.

E-commerce is another major growth driver, with DTDC’s Raftaar rapid-fulfilment business operating 75 dark stores integrated with its existing network. The service offers two-hour, four-hour and guaranteed next-day deliveries without requiring a separate delivery network.

DTDC is also expanding its digital infrastructure. Its eDOT self-onboarding platform has crossed 40,000 registrations and onboarded more than 9,000 businesses across around 2,200 PIN codes. Its multilingual AI assistant, DIVA, records more than 150,000 monthly interactions.

With around 190 million transactions handled annually, DTDC expects automation and artificial intelligence to reduce its cost structure over the next three to five years, enabling higher volumes without a proportionate increase in manpower.

The company expects improved network utilisation, international expansion, rapid fulfilment and automation to support its double-digit growth ambition through FY30.
