    Union Minister of Commerce & Industry Piyush Goyal co-chaired the 14th Meeting of the India-UAE High-Level Joint Task Force on Investments with H.H. Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Managing Director of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA). UAE Minister of Foreign Trade Dr. Thani bin Al Zeyoudi also attended the meeting.

    The discussions focused on strengthening the India-UAE trade and investment partnership, with particular emphasis on energy, infrastructure, logistics, advanced technology and food security, along with other priority sectors.

    The two sides reviewed progress on ongoing investment initiatives and explored measures to facilitate greater investment flows and create additional opportunities for businesses and investors in both countries.

    The meeting also discussed the role of the India-UAE Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) in reducing trade barriers and supporting expansion into new sectors.

    India and the UAE have continued to deepen their economic engagement, with investment cooperation and trade facilitation emerging as key areas of the bilateral partnership. The latest discussions reaffirmed the focus on creating a stronger investment ecosystem and expanding opportunities across strategic sectors.
