    Maersk has announced revised Dry Port Surcharge (DPS) rates for dry container exports originating from eight inland locations in India and moving through Indian ports to destinations worldwide under AFLS arrangements.

    The revised surcharges will take effect from 1 October 2026 for non-regulated countries and 26 October 2026 for regulated countries. The changes apply to 20-foot dry, 40-foot dry and 40-foot high-cube containers.

    For exports from Sahnewal, Ludhiana, Chawapail, Kila Raipur and Kilaraipur Adani, the 20-foot container surcharge will increase from INR 9,000 to INR 10,000, while the 40-foot rate will rise from INR 9,810 to INR 11,810.

    At Ahmedgarh, the 20-foot rate will increase from INR 5,000 to INR 6,000, while the 40-foot surcharge will rise from INR 5,000 to INR 7,000.

    For Rajpura and Phillur, the 20-foot surcharge will increase from INR 9,000 to INR 10,000, while the 40-foot rate will rise from INR 5,000 to INR 11,810.

    The revised DPS will apply to export shipments from the specified inland locations transported via Indian ports to destinations worldwide.
