    M. R. Shah Group has strengthened its freight operations with the deployment of double-tank LNG-powered heavy-duty trucks from Blue Energy Motors to transport non-hazardous chemicals from Kutch to destinations across North India.

The trucks offer a driving range of up to 2,400 km on a single fill and can reduce greenhouse gas emissions by up to 30% compared with diesel-powered counterparts, supporting improved fleet utilisation and cleaner long-haul transportation.

Archit Agrawal, Director, M. R. Shah Group, said the trucks offer the range and operational efficiency required for long-distance transportation. Anand Mimani, CEO – EV & New Energy Business, Blue Energy Motors, said the deployment reflects the growing adoption of cleaner, high-performance solutions in India’s freight sector.

Blue Energy Motors said it has over 1,400 green heavy-duty trucks operating across key Indian freight routes. Its fleet has covered more than 150 million green kilometres, helping avoid over 44,000 tonnes of CO₂ emissions, equivalent to the carbon absorption of approximately 1.8 million trees.
