Flomic Global Logistics Ltd has significantly expanded the storage capacity of its Bhiwandi warehouse in Maharashtra through the installation of a multi-tier storage structure and high-rise pallet racking, increasing the effective leasable area fourfold to 20,000 sq ft within the existing footprint.

The expansion is aimed at meeting growing demand from the quick commerce and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sectors, enabling the company to enhance its warehousing capacity without acquiring or leasing additional land.

Flomic commissioned a ground-plus-three-tier (G+3) storage structure in July 2026, with the installation completed in September. The facility adds 15,000 sq ft of storage space across three additional levels, each offering 5,000 sq ft. Notably, this marks the company’s first outright procurement of such a structure, compared with its earlier installations that were leased. A quick commerce customer has been utilising the newly added space since September 2026.

In a parallel development, the company installed G+5-level long-span shelving during September and October 2026, creating more than 2,000 additional pallet positions. This has increased the Bhiwandi warehouse’s total pallet storage capacity to approximately 8,000 positions. An FMCG customer commenced operations using the newly added pallet capacity in October 2026.

The expansion strengthens Flomic Global Logistics’ warehousing capabilities at Bhiwandi, allowing it to maximise space utilisation, improve storage density and cater to the evolving requirements of high-growth sectors such as quick commerce and FMCG.
