Hellmann Worldwide Logistics has strengthened its presence in the United States by opening three new branches in Indianapolis, the Columbus metropolitan area and the San Francisco Bay Area, expanding its US network to 12 locations.

The expansion forms part of the company’s Forward2030 growth strategy and is aimed at strengthening its logistics capabilities in key industrial and commercial markets. The new branches will provide industry-specific solutions supported by international and domestic transportation services.

Established in the US in 1988, Hellmann continues to expand its coverage across sea freight, air freight and road transportation, with a focus on meeting the evolving supply chain requirements of customers.

New Branches Focus on Key Industry Sectors

The Indianapolis branch is already operational and will primarily serve the automotive industry, supporting Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers with international ocean and air freight services, as well as domestic road transportation.

The new office in the Columbus metropolitan area of Ohio will focus on customers in the fashion and retail sectors, while the third location, near San Francisco International Airport, will cater to technology-driven industries, including semiconductors, electronics, cloud infrastructure and renewable energy.

The three locations are expected to improve Hellmann’s ability to deliver specialised logistics services across major US manufacturing and commercial hubs.

“The United States plays a pivotal role in our global growth strategy,” said Mario Stecher, Managing Director US at Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, highlighting the importance of the new locations in strengthening customer support across strategically significant markets.

    Expansion Supports US Accelerator Programme

The latest expansion also advances Hellmann’s US Accelerator Program, which focuses on developing the company’s regional operations through targeted investments and specialised industry expertise.

Peter Hüwel, Regional CEO Americas at Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, said the programme combines the company’s international network with local market knowledge to create further growth opportunities.

With the addition of the three branches, Hellmann is strengthening its US footprint and advancing its strategy to deliver integrated, industry-focused logistics solutions across its global network.
