Indonesian owner Samudera Shipping Line is expanding its fleet with two secondhand ethylene gas carriers.
The Singapore-listed owner has agreed to buy unnamed Bahama-flagged units built in 2009 and 2010 for $12.6m.
The acquisition will be financed through a combination of internal resources and bank borrowings, the company said.
No further details have been disclosed about the vessels except that they would be renamed Sinar Ternate and Sinar Tidore after delivery.
