SriLankan Cargo, the air cargo arm of SriLankan Airlines, has recently launched a new service charter and website, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

The new model divides services into Freshness, Wellness, Precious, and Guardian Classes, guaranteeing the highest possible care for consignments.

Chaminda Perera, the Head of Cargo, also showed interest in the new development saying that the airline is all about striving for the best. Freshness and Wellness classes depend on the importance of perishable goods and the efficacy of medicine during the shipment, whereas Precious and Guardian classes are concerned with the safety and well-being of animals in transit. Customers are able to call a 24/7 hotline and get information about the location of their shipments.

The improved website allows for easy access to the necessary information and provides the tools for flight planning, calculating the weight of the aircraft, and charter services.

Ruwan Waidyaratne who is the Managing Director of Hayleys Advantis also appreciated SriLankan Cargo’s efforts in this regard despite the odds. The current global destinations of SriLankan Cargo include the Middle East, Europe, and other regions, with the provision of options and ideal amenities for various shipments.
