DBGT, a prominent container terminal operator at VOC Port Tuticorin, has achieved a remarkable feat by crossing the 4 million TEU (Twenty-Foot Equivalent Units) handling mark. This milestone underscores the company’s unwavering commitment to operational excellence and its position as a leading player in the industry.

Since commencing commercial operations in May 2014, DBGT has consistently demonstrated exceptional growth and efficiency. The terminal’s strategic investments in cutting-edge technology and infrastructure, coupled with the expertise of its workforce, have been instrumental in driving this success.

Notably, DBGT has scaled new heights with each passing year. The company achieved the 1 million TEU mark in June 2019, followed by 2 million in March 2021 and 3 million in November 2022. The latest milestone of 4 million TEUs was reached in just 21 months, highlighting the terminal’s robust growth trajectory.

With a track record of handling over 3,000 vessels since inception, DBGT has solidified its reputation in the southern region for precision and reliability in ship management. This milestone further strengthens the company’s position as a preferred choice for shipping lines and cargo owners in the region.
