    Suezmax specialist Nordic American Tankers (NAT) has secured long-term employment for one of its vessels

    The New York-listed firm did not disclose the name of the vessel or the charterer but said the unit has been fixed to a “major international energy company”.

    The contract, effective from November this year, is for five years at a dayrate in the mid to high $30,000s, amounting to about $64m.

    The Herbjorn Hansson-led owner boasts a fleet of 20 suezmaxes built between 2003 and 2022.
