The Air Cargo Agents Association of India (ACAAI) Northern Region recently conducted a familiarisation visit to the upcoming Noida International Airport, offering members a first-hand look at what is poised to become a major hub for India’s air cargo sector.

A delegation of more than 80 members toured the airport’s cargo terminal, where they were introduced to its infrastructure, operational preparedness, and long-term development plans. The visit underscored the airport’s potential to significantly boost cargo handling capacity, improve logistics efficiency, and meet the rising demand for seamless trade movement across North India.

The initiative reflects ACAAI’s ongoing efforts to equip its members with practical industry exposure and forward-looking insights, helping them stay competitive in an evolving logistics landscape.

Speaking during the visit, Vinet K Chadha, Chairman of ACAAI Northern Region, emphasized the scale and vision of the project. He noted that the development of Noida International Airport represents a transformative step for the country’s air cargo ecosystem, with the potential to redefine cargo movement not only in the region but across India.
