The Air Cargo Agents Association of India (ACAAI) Western Region, under the leadership of Chairman Mr. Rajen Bhatia, Hon. Secretary Mr. Shailesh Sharma, and Hon. Treasurer Mr. Farokh Hansotia, successfully organized an exclusive visit to the upcoming Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA), an ambitious infrastructure project being developed by the Adani Group.

The visit provided the ACAAI Managing Committee and Board of Advisors with valuable insights into the airport’s modern infrastructure, particularly its state-of-the-art cargo facilities. Delegates were given a first-hand overview of NMIA’s operational readiness, advanced technology integration, and logistics capabilities, which are expected to redefine cargo handling standards in the region.

ACAAI extended gratitude to Mr. Suresh Nair, Head – Cargo, NMIA, and his team for their warm hospitality, detailed presentation, and guided tour of the facilities.

Looking ahead, ACAAI announced that at its upcoming Western Region meeting on August 19, 2025, Mr. Nair will deliver a comprehensive presentation on the NMIA project to all members, offering deeper insights into the transformative infrastructure and its potential to boost India’s air cargo sector.
