Fleetx.io, a logistics SaaS platform, announced on 27 November the launch of AI-powered Truckable Routes, a routing intelligence engine designed specifically for India’s commercial vehicle ecosystem. The new solution aims to replace theoretical map estimates with ground-truth data derived from over five lakh connected commercial vehicles.

According to the company press release, the product analyses millions of real-world historical trip patterns to determine the most effective freight movement paths. Processing this data gives enterprises visibility into critical metrics: route popularity, average travel time (including stoppages), expected delays, and safety indicators.

Vineet Sharma, Founder & CEO of Fleetx said, “Enterprises in India have never had access to Google-style routing intelligence for their commercial vehicles. Route decisions have often depended on driver preference or incomplete internal knowledge.”

Sharma added, “With AI-powered Truckable Routes, we are giving logistics teams a data-backed view of which routes are truly optimal. We believe this will fundamentally transform how freight is planned, monitored, and optimised in the country.”

The platform offers detailed insights into the economics of specific routes, including toll costs and trip expenses, allowing businesses to balance speed, safety, and cost effectively.
A key feature of the system is its ability to detect route deviations in real-time. This capability allows logistics managers to ensure drivers adhere to recommended paths, significantly reducing risks associated with unsafe corridors or unplanned stoppages.

The company notes that this standardisation helps improve On-Time In-Full (OTIF) performance and brings predictability to operations across plants, vendors, and transport partners.

The engine is built on one of India’s largest datasets of commercial vehicle movement. With continuous telemetry data flowing from over half a million vehicles, the AI models are designed to self-improve.

Much like consumer navigation apps, the system becomes more accurate and context-aware with every new journey, but it is tailored exclusively for the complexities of heavy freight.

Fleetx aims to provide a reliable representation of how freight actually moves across India, offering a distinct advantage over standard mapping solutions that often lack context on heavy vehicle restrictions and road suitability.
