Allcargo Logistics, one of India’s leading integrated logistics solutions providers, has strengthened its digital capabilities by implementing Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications, standardising core business processes, automating routine tasks and improving financial reporting. The implementation has helped the company reduce its month-end financial closing time by 30%, while enhancing governance, operational visibility and process efficiency.
Founded in 1993, Allcargo Logistics operates more than 700 facilities across India, serving customers in diverse sectors, including e-commerce, automotive and pharmaceuticals. As the company continued to expand, it sought to replace legacy on-premises systems with a scalable cloud-based platform capable of supporting growth, improving real-time visibility, strengthening internal controls and leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) to automate routine business processes.
Following an evaluation of available solutions, Allcargo Logistics selected Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications to modernise its finance operations. The integrated platform now supports more than 4,000 users across over 700 operating units, enabling greater consistency in business processes and improved coordination across the organisation.
“Digital transformation is central to our long-term growth strategy and our commitment to operational excellence,” said Sanjay Khiyani, Chief Information Officer, Allcargo Logistics. He said Oracle Fusion Applications for finance had provided a unified platform to simplify work through AI, improve visibility and establish a stronger foundation for the company’s continued growth.
Using Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Allcargo Logistics has standardised and automated finance processes across its operations. The system has reduced the time teams spend on manual tasks while strengthening controls and improving the quality and timeliness of financial reporting.
The company has also deployed Oracle Fusion Cloud Procurement, which has enabled end-to-end procurement automation and provided teams with a consistent view of purchasing activities across its geographically distributed operations.
Commenting on the implementation, Shailesh Singla, Vice President, Cloud Applications, Oracle India, said logistics providers needed increasingly capable digital applications as customer expectations rose and supply chains became more dynamic. He noted that Oracle’s AI capabilities and Fusion Agentic Applications were helping Allcargo Logistics automate routine activities and move processes forward, allowing employees to focus more on decision-making and business priorities.
The implementation was managed by Grant Thornton Bharat, an Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN) partner.
The deployment marks a significant step in Allcargo Logistics’ digital transformation journey, combining integrated cloud applications, process automation and AI-enabled capabilities to support operational efficiency, stronger governance and scalable business growth.
