Indian home appliance brand Kenstar has partnered with Unicommerce eSolutions to streamline its e-commerce operations, improve inventory visibility and strengthen order fulfilment as it expands its digital sales channels across India.

Under the partnership, Kenstar has adopted Unicommerce’s Uniware platform, integrating its Order Management System (OMS) and Warehouse Management System (WMS). The technology will enable the company to manage online orders, inventory and warehouse operations through a unified platform.

The integration is expected to provide real-time inventory visibility, improve stock utilisation and support faster order processing across multiple sales channels. It will also help Kenstar coordinate fulfilment more efficiently as order volumes and operational complexity increase.

    Strengthening warehousing and fulfilment

Kenstar serves customers through major e-commerce and quick-commerce platforms, its own website, modern retail outlets and more than 30,000 retail touchpoints and dealerships. The company operates over 18 warehouses and fulfilment centres across India.

Managing inventory across this extensive network requires coordination between online orders, stock availability and warehouse operations. The Uniware platform is intended to provide a consolidated view of these activities, helping Kenstar improve operational control and fulfilment efficiency.

Kenstar CEO Sunil Jain said the partnership would help strengthen inventory visibility and fulfilment capabilities while supporting the company’s expanding online presence.

Unicommerce Managing Director and CEO Kapil Makhija said technology would play an important role in supporting Kenstar’s direct-to-consumer growth and ensuring its operational capabilities keep pace with business expansion.

The partnership reflects the growing importance of integrated order and warehouse management systems in India’s rapidly expanding digital commerce sector. Improved inventory accuracy, coordinated warehousing and efficient fulfilment can help consumer brands manage higher order volumes and deliver a more consistent customer experience.
