    Orlando, Florida-based freight forwarder Allstates WorldCargo has acquired fellow forwarder Saturn Freight Systems, headquartered in Georgia.

    Allstates WorldCargo said the acquisition positions it to expand its operational capabilities, enhance its service offerings, and strengthen its global footprint.

    “We are thrilled to welcome Saturn Freight Systems into the Allstates WorldCargo team,” said Kendra Tanner, president and chief executive of Allstates WorldCargo.

    “This acquisition not only reflects our growth strategy but also allows us to leverage Saturn’s expertise and resources to deliver even greater value to our customers. Together, we will enhance our service capabilities and provide more comprehensive logistics solutions.”

    Saturn Freight Systems will continue to operate under its brand name and retain its team. The freight forwarding and logistics company’s services include airfreight, ground shipping and logistics. Key customers include computer, medical, printing, and trade show companies.

    Allstates WorldCargo was founded in 1961 and offers domestic air and ground services, international air, ocean and documentation services, trucking, warehouse and distribution, and technology solutions.
