Arkas Line and Turkon Line have expanded their Turkey–India container service by adding a new call at Safaga Port, strengthening connectivity between the Mediterranean, Red Sea and Indian subcontinent.
The inclusion of Safaga Port is expected to improve cargo access for exporters and importers in Egypt and surrounding regions while providing additional routing options for shipments moving between Turkey and India. The service enhancement will support the movement of a wide range of commodities, including manufactured goods, textiles, machinery, agricultural products and consumer cargo.
By adding Safaga to the rotation, Arkas and Turkon aim to expand their regional coverage and provide customers with more efficient links through key maritime gateways. The new port call is expected to support faster cargo connections and improve supply chain flexibility for businesses trading across the Turkey–India corridor.
