Astral Aviation has resumed its dedicated freighter service between Nairobi and Guangzhou , restoring a key air cargo link between East Africa and China to meet growing demand for trade and logistics services.
The reinstated route is expected to strengthen cargo connectivity for exporters and importers, facilitating the movement of perishables, pharmaceuticals, e-commerce shipments, industrial goods, and general cargo between the two regions. The service also supports faster transit times and greater capacity for time-sensitive shipments.
Guangzhou remains one of China’s largest manufacturing and logistics hubs, while Nairobi serves as a strategic gateway for cargo moving across East and Central Africa. The resumed operations are expected to enhance supply chain efficiency and provide businesses with more reliable freight options.
