Bremer Lloyd has opened an office in Chennai, India as it enhances its presence in one of the world’s largest and fastest-growing markets.

“India offers unique opportunities for growth and development, and we are confident that our new office will help us to strengthen our service portfolio for our local and global clients. In the mid-term, we expect our Indian colleagues to play a crucial role in executing our recently initiated digital strategy,” said Jakob Halm, managing director of Bremer Lloyd.

Madhan Mohan, managing director of Bremer Lloyd India, highlighted the country’s rapidly growing project logistics activity, driven by infrastructure projects, and increased industrial activity.

“We are observing a trend of more OEMs focusing on Indian suppliers as part of their best cost country sourcing strategy. As a result, we anticipate increased local and global demand. We are pleased to see orders already coming in from our network,” he said.
