Cathay Cargo has launched a new “Manage Booking” digital solution aimed at giving freight forwarders greater control and flexibility over cargo reservations. The tool enables users to make real-time amendments to bookings, including changes to shipment details, flight allocations, and cargo specifications.

The platform is part of Cathay Cargo’s broader push toward digitalisation, designed to streamline operational workflows and reduce manual intervention. By allowing forwarders to directly manage bookings online, the airline expects to improve efficiency, enhance transparency, and minimise processing delays.

The feature is accessible around the clock and integrates with Cathay Cargo’s existing digital ecosystem, offering a seamless experience for customers handling time-sensitive shipments. Industry observers note that such tools are becoming increasingly critical as air cargo demand grows more dynamic and customer expectations shift toward instant, self-service capabilities.

With this launch, Cathay Cargo continues to strengthen its digital offerings, positioning itself to better serve global freight forwarders in an increasingly competitive air cargo market.
