    Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC) celebrated its 70th Foundation Day today, in a grand event attended by Hon’ble Union Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, Sh. Pralhad Joshi, and Hon’ble Minister of State, Sh. B. L. Verma.

    CWC Managing Director Sh. Santosh Sinha presented an overview of the Corporation’s achievements over seven decades and outlined a roadmap for the future, emphasizing innovation and modernization in warehousing and logistics.

    Addressing the gathering, Union Minister Sh. Pralhad Joshi congratulated CWC on completing 70 glorious years, praised its strong financial performance, and encouraged the Corporation to accelerate efforts to place India among the Top 25 Global Logistics Performers.

    MoS Sh. B. L. Verma highlighted CWC’s pivotal role in strengthening India’s logistics infrastructure and ensuring food security. He expressed confidence that CWC would continue to lead the way in modernizing storage and distribution systems across the country.

    The event was also attended by Ms. Aprajita Sharma, CVO, Smt. Sangeeta Ramrakhyani, Director (HR), Sh. Niraj Priyadershi, Director (Finance), and Sh. Samuel Praveen Kumar, Director (M&CP), reflecting the Corporation’s strong leadership team.

    As CWC embarks on its eighth decade, it aims to continue its journey stronger, smarter, and future-ready, reinforcing its commitment to efficient warehousing and logistics solutions for India.
