Global logistics major CEVA Logistics has successfully executed a time-sensitive pharmaceutical air charter from Italy to the United States, ensuring the rapid and secure delivery of critical medical cargo.

The shipment, involving temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical products, required precise coordination and strict adherence to cold-chain protocols. CEVA deployed a dedicated charter aircraft to minimise transit time and maintain product integrity throughout the journey.

The operation included end-to-end logistics planning, from specialised packaging and handling at origin to expedited customs clearance and final delivery in the US. Advanced monitoring systems were used to track temperature and shipment conditions in real time.

Company officials highlighted that such time-critical charters are increasingly in demand, particularly for high-value and sensitive cargo like pharmaceuticals, where delays or temperature deviations can compromise product efficacy.

The successful execution underscores CEVA’s capabilities in managing complex healthcare logistics and its focus on delivering tailored solutions for urgent global shipments.

As demand for specialised logistics services grows, the company continues to expand its charter and cold-chain offerings to support the evolving needs of the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors.
